It was the Southern Spring of 2013. After several months of being completely focused at my day job, I took a vacation with my family. It has been two years since we had had the chance of spending some meaningful time together, and I felt that it was overdue for us to take a time-out in a place away from our homes to get away from it all.
Singapore sounded like a good option. It is midway between our respective locations, and has lots to do for everyone.
I spent 4 days shooting over 6,500 individual frames. This time-lapse video is made from 6,474 of those frames that I shot. I spent nearly 40 hours shooting the footage, and another 40 post-processing the images to come up with this final timelapse video.
Most of this was shot around the Marina Bay area. I felt that this trip allowed me to cover about 50% of what Singapore has to offer its tourists – which leaves me with another reason to visit this location which is enroute to India.
