Singaporean Skies

This has been in the works for a few months. When I moved here in March 2016, it was my 21st time in Singapore (I used to stop here in each direction every time I used to fly to India). Prior to my moving here, I had spent approximately 50 days in this city spread over all those trips during which it never, ever rained. Having moved here somewhat more permanently, I have had the opportunity to observe weather patterns changing from the comfort of my balcony, 23 floors above street level. Singaporean skies do not disappoint when it comes to showing off the full range of Mother Nature’s temperament. This short film was made from over 5,000 individually shot exposures and provides a very brief showing of what the weather systems in the tropics can be like.
