This is an art exhibit that almost nearly didn’t happen. The KAWS holiday was a giant inflatable art piece that was set up on The Float at Marina Bay. After being installed, a non-profit arts organisation started contempt of court proceedings against parties involved in its showcase, on grounds that they breached an earlier court order to stop the exhibition and its related publicity events.
It was eventually resolved, and we managed to get a glimpse of this larger-than-life inflatable sculpture. The sculpture attracted plenty of people during exhibition hours. I came back the next day and flew my drone over it to get an aerial view that showed its scale against the soccer field upon which it lay.
